Ready, Break!

After taking a somewhat informal survey, I am thinking that we are going to take a break for a bit with the challenge. This should give everyone time to get feeling better, and time for Jeff to recover from his non-sugar-sweaty-shakes;) We can give it some time and when everyone is ready to get going, we can start up again.

I don't have scores for everyone, but I am thinking that G and Jeff brought down the house with a perfect score- Way to Go!!! So, I am thinking they are the winners for the first two weeks of Jan. Please let me know if anyone else had a perfect score and we can award the winning team appropriately:)

For the last two weeks in December I think team "Sweetness" took the cake. We had all but ten points. Please let me know if you had a higher score.

Laurie won for sure over-all in November.

**Overall winner for December I am un-sure of what to do. Laur and I already won with our teams, just wondering who had the next highest score for Dec. Please let me know.

**As for January, please let me know what you would like to do. We have $60 to work with. We can either split the whole amount between G and Jeff (or whever won), or we can pay the winning team $40 to split, and have the over-all winner receive $20.

Please let me know what everyone would like to do about the winnings for Dec. and Jan., I would really love your input!

Thanks so much!

P.S. Please double check my figures, I have not been blessed with a talent for #'s.

Excellent!

Please allow me to congratulate Jeff and Scott. They have already done a super job at patting themselves on the back;), but I would like to pass along my congrats!

As for team Blaze (Amy and Josh) We really have put forth a VERY Valiant effort, but how can you compete with G and Jeff as a team?

Happy Fitness All! And have a great rest of the week snappin' carrots and movin' that water through your system:)

I Echo the Thoughts of D.

I am sorry to say that I feel that Duno is correct. Our state championships have left us with the ability to rise above mentally. Duno has pounded his way through 2 different 26.2 mile marathons. In the last one, he picked up his beaten down carcass from the cold asphalt and staggered across the finish line, in the face of daunting obstacles. He has also overcome playing behind a midget at times to hoist a championship trophy for bingham's sons and daughters.

Now, Duno has consented to live the fitness version of the Law of Moses, even when there is very little benefit to him. Let's be honest, we can both bench press trucks but have consented to change our dietary preferences for the sake of competition.

And much like we did against that mouse in Jim and Sue's basement, we will prevail. No pickleball runner up finishes, weightlifting participation trophies, sheep herding ribbons from the county fair or clogging medals will stop us.

STATE CHAMPIONS

STATE CHAMPIONS ARE IN DA HOUSE. whoever's idea it was to put the only 2 state champions on the same team, boy are they regretting it. This contest is no match for someone as superior as Me and G. Ya'll should know G's mental strength after the rigorous and mentally and physically challenging newspaper title he anchored and led back to the Hillcrest Huskies. Not to mention being away from home and competing against the nations finest minds, on the grandest stage MATH COUNTS!!! My parter lived among the live stock of Boise, and entertained even the dryest of actuaries. Not to mention battled the water moccasins, and outran sheep on their own turf. May I take this moment and Salute G for a week of perfection and brillance....

Changes???

Hello everyone,
For the month of January, what do you think about these changes? Combining all cardio, strength, and stretching as an hour and still 10 points? Having a daily bonus that will consist of a category chosen at random. If you have completed that category you get five extra points. Also if you don't want to do it anymore that's perfectly fine just let us know. Let's just try to stop the fudging... zucchini bread a veggie, shopping cardio, etc. Let put in an honest and worthwhile effort. As far as workouts go they should be something that is an activity that you normally wouldn't do. For example: I couldn't count walking to campus and back as cardio. I do that anyways, but running at night is a different story. I don't normally just jump on my feet for a nice jog, so that would be a cardio workout! Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. I love you all!
